Convert any video to MP4
MP4 with H.264 video and AAC sound plays on every phone, computer, TV and website. Convert iPhone MOV files, WebM screen recordings, MKV downloads, AVI clips from old cameras and more.
How to convert a video to MP4
- Add a video — MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, FLV, WMV, 3GP, MTS and more — or paste a direct link to one.
- Choose the Quality: High, Standard or Smaller file.
- Press Convert to MP4 and download the result.
Repackaged or converted?
- If the video inside is already H.264 with AAC or MP3 sound — common for MOV files from iPhones set to “Most Compatible”, and for many MKV files — it is repackaged as MP4 without re-encoding: identical quality, done in seconds.
- Anything else — HEVC (H.265) from recent iPhones, VP8/VP9 WebM, 10-bit video, old AVI codecs — is converted to H.264 and AAC, which takes longer. The quality setting applies here.
- The result tells you which happened.
Good to know
- HDR video from recent iPhones becomes standard (SDR) H.264, which can look a little less vivid but plays everywhere.
- For other formats — MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI — use the Video Format Converter; to make a file smaller, Compress Video.
Everything is processed in your browser with ffmpeg (WebAssembly): your video is never uploaded.
