Add a logo or text watermark to a video

Brand your videos and discourage re-uploads by placing your logo or name on every frame. A watermark in a corner tells viewers where the video came from, wherever it ends up being shared.

How to watermark a video

  1. Add a video — MP4, MOV or WebM — or paste a direct link to one.
  2. Choose Logo (image) and pick a PNG, JPG or WebP, or choose Text and type your name or handle.
  3. Choose the position (a corner or the centre), the size and the opacity. The preview updates as you go.
  4. Press Add watermark and download the MP4.

Tips

  • The size is relative to the video’s width — Small, Medium or Large look the same on any resolution.
  • A logo with a transparent background blends into the picture instead of sitting in a box. No transparent version? Make one with the Background Remover.
  • 60–80% opacity is visible without distracting; a centred watermark is harder to crop out.
  • For titles and captions, use Add Text to Video.

Everything is processed in your browser with ffmpeg (WebAssembly): neither your video nor your logo is uploaded.
