Add filters and effects to a video
Give a video a different mood: classic black and white, a warm sepia tone, an old-film vintage look, punchy high contrast or an inverted negative — and fine-tune brightness, contrast and colour.
How to add an effect
- Add a video, or paste a direct link to one.
- Choose an effect: Black & white, Sepia, Vintage, High contrast or Invert — or None to only adjust.
- Adjust Brightness, Contrast and Colour (saturation) with the sliders, watching the live preview.
- Press Apply to video and download the MP4.
Tips
- Black and white hides colour casts and noisy footage from dim rooms; add a little contrast for a dramatic look.
- Turn Colour down slightly for a muted, film-like feel, or up for vivid travel clips.
- The preview is a close approximation; the saved video is re-encoded as an MP4 (H.264 and AAC) with the effect on every frame.
- More ways to edit: change the speed with Change Video Speed, add text with Add Text to Video, or apply filters to a GIF with GIF Effects.
Everything is processed in your browser with ffmpeg (WebAssembly): your video is never uploaded, and there are no watermarks.
