Turn a logo, sticker or photo into a looping animation — spin, shake, pulse, bounce, wobble, flip, zoom or rainbow — with a transparent background. Free.

To make a spinning logo, open the Spin & Shake GIF Maker, add your logo — a PNG with a transparent background works best — and choose the Motion: Spin, Shake, Pulse, Bounce, Wobble, Flip, Zoom or Rainbow. Set the Direction, Strength, Loop length and Size, keep Transparent background on, and make the GIF. Every motion loops seamlessly.
Make it step by step
- Open the Spin & Shake GIF Maker.
- Add the picture — a logo, an emoji, a sticker, a photo.
- Choose the Motion.
- For spins, choose the Direction: Clockwise or Anticlockwise.
- Set the Strength — how far it moves — and the Loop length — how long one loop takes.
- Choose the Size: 128×128 (emojis), 256×256, 400×400 or 512×512.
- Tick Round crop to turn a square photo into a spinning circle, and keep Transparent background on — or choose a background colour.
- Make the GIF and download it.
Which motion for what?
| Motion | Feels | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Spin | Busy, loading, records | Logos, vinyl, coins, "loading" icons |
| Shake | Angry, excited, buzzing | Reaction emojis, notifications |
| Pulse | Alive, love, attention | Hearts, "LIVE" badges, buttons |
| Bounce | Happy, playful | Stickers, mascots |
| Wobble | Silly, jelly | Fun emojis, kids' content |
| Flip | Showy, coin toss | Badges, cards, coins |
| Zoom | Dramatic, "boom" | Reveals, reactions |
| Rainbow | Party | Party-parrot style emojis, celebrations |
Get a transparent logo first
A logo on a white square spins as a white square. For a clean result:
- Use a PNG with transparency from your designer or brand kit.
- Or cut the background out with the Background Remover.
- For simple flat-colour logos, the Transparent GIF Maker removes one colour.
GIF transparency is all-or-nothing per pixel, so soft edges can look slightly jagged on dark backgrounds. If you know where the GIF will sit, choose that background colour instead of transparency for smooth edges.
Settings for common uses
- Discord or Slack emoji: 128×128, a quick loop (about 1 second), then check the size limit with the Emoji GIF Maker — 256 KB for Discord, 128 KB for Slack.
- Website loading icon: Spin, 128 or 256 px, transparent.
- Email signature: Pulse or gentle Spin, small size, a background matching your email.
- Stream overlay: 400 or 512 px, Rainbow or Bounce.
Round crop for avatars
Square photos of faces or pets look great as spinning circles — tick Round crop. It's the classic "record spinning" or "spinning head" effect, popular as Discord emojis and reactions.
Loop length and strength
Loop length is how long one full movement takes: 1 second feels lively, 2–3 seconds feels calm. Strength controls how big the movement is — a gentle shake reads as "buzzing", a strong one as "furious". Start in the middle and adjust while watching the preview.
Keep it light and pleasant
- Shorter loops have fewer frames and smaller files.
- Gentle strength is less distracting on websites and in signatures.
- Avoid fast flashing colours (Rainbow at high speed) — they can be uncomfortable for some viewers.

Frequently asked questions
Can I make a video instead of a GIF?
Convert the result with GIF to MP4 for platforms that want video.
Why is the edge of my logo jagged?
GIF can't do semi-transparent pixels. Use a solid background close to where it will be shown.
Can I spin text?
Yes — make a transparent PNG of the text first, or use the Animated Text GIF generator for animated words.
