Watermark your photos

A watermark shows who took a photo and discourages people from reusing it without credit. Add your name, a © notice, a web address or your logo — in a corner for a subtle signature, or tiled across the whole picture for proofs and previews.

How to watermark photos

  1. Add one photo or a whole batch.
  2. Choose a text watermark (type your name or © notice) or upload your logo.
  3. Pick the position — a corner, the centre, or tiled across — plus the size, colour and opacity, while watching the preview.
  4. Watermark and download: one photo as an image, several as a ZIP.

Tips

  • The size is relative to each photo, so the watermark looks the same on small and large pictures in a batch.
  • White text with a soft shadow reads on most photos; 40–70% opacity keeps it visible without spoiling the picture.
  • Tiled watermarks are the hardest to crop or edit out — best for client proofs and stock previews.
  • Watermarking a PDF instead? Use Add PDF Watermark. For captions and titles, use Add Text to Image.

Everything happens in your browser: your photos are never uploaded to a server, so they stay private.
